Ainsley Street Student Accommodation On Site

Today's xsite is Nita...

This is our second bespoke student accommodation facility in Durham, together with developer Connislow and construction partner BAM. The project has been on site for just over a month and is due for completion in late summer 2014.

The design takes its cues from traditional brick buildings in Durham, featuring pitched roofs, brick corbelling and vertically proportioned windows. The buildings are formed around two landscaped courtyards, which face onto the surrounding Flass Vale woodland.

Brasserie Hudson Quay completed

Today's xsite is Robin...

Our latest restaurant and cafe project has just been completed. Located in Middlesbrough’s Middlehaven district adjacent to the Riverside Stadium, Brasserie Hudson Quay offers all day high-quality food and drink for up to 100 seats.

The Brasserie will be open from 6th July with bookings available to be taken now: Visit http://www.brasseriehudsonquay.com/ to make a reservation.

From the website:

“Brasserie Hudson Quay has been designed to recall the Grand European Cafes of France, Spain and Italy, providing a unique dining experience in a luxurious yet contemporary setting.

The style and ambience is distinctly European, providing an experience normally reserved for capital cities. In this respect, the Brasserie is exceptional and unique to the Greater Teesside area. Opening until late into the evening, the Brasserie is a destination venue offering a complete evening out, where customers can look out over the waters of Middlehaven inlet, chat with friends and relax against a background of chilled lounge music.

Based primarily on Classical French, Spanish and Italian cooking, Brasserie Hudson Quay offers a combination of style which predominates throughout Europe's Grand Cafes and Brasseries, where the most popular dishes from all of the countries have merged.”

Palace Hub Micro Offices

Today's xsite is Nita...

A side project fitting out one of the larger office at the Palace Hub has just been completed. The Micro Offices are designed with start up businesses in mind- each office is big enough for 1-2 people. Companies letting a micro office can have an affordable address at the Hub with similar companies as neighbours, moving into the bigger offices as their businesses grow. The Micro Offices have their own break out spaces and meeting areas, formed by the spaces between the offices.

The panels forming the fitout were largely prefabricated in the factory then assembled on site. They consist of a timber frame clad alternatively with timber battens, birch faced ply and corrugated polycarbonate.

We are thrilled with how they’ve turned out and look forward to seeing them fully furnished and occupied.

The Late Shows

Today's xsite is Anna...

This year's Late Shows is just around the corner and we have some exciting plans a foot... We're transforming Ouse Street Arts Club into a 'Bar-cade'...

Visit our weekend amusement arcade, set up with games, new and old to watch and play over the course of the Late Shows. Our shipping container event space in the heart of Newcastle’s Ouseburn Valley will host this ‘Bar-cade’ for one weekend only; somewhere between a Social Club and a seaside amusement arcade, while away the evening with games, music, drinks...

Can you make it onto the Leader Board or get lucky in The Meat Raffle? Come down and say hi on the 17th and 18th May 7-11pm both evenings.
